Brunei Darussalam celebrates World Patient Safety Day 2025 with the theme 'Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child'. The celebration is held to raise awareness, mobilise action, and reduce avoidable harm in healthcare. Organised by Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Hospital in Temburong District, it took place at the Lobby of Women and Children Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

The opening was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. This year's theme focuses on ensuring safe care for newborns and children. The event was highlighted with video screenings, exhibitions and sales.
